'Medieval Celtic Britain: Fact and Fiction

'Abstract: Medieval Celtic Britain: Fact and Fiction.
Celts are in fashion. They suggest druids, myths, legends, bards, pagan gods and goddesses, Other World magic, Queen Boudica and Arthur of Britain. But how much of this is true? Apparently, a great deal. Dr Andrew Breeze offers up-to-date interpretations of ancient and medieval Britons, with emphasis on what we know of their early paganism and beliefs in the Other World, as well as on the real 'King' Arthur (a sixth-century North British champion) and the classic stories of love and adventure called -The Mabinogion.
